some new year's housekeeping

couple of changes for the new year.

the archive has changed from weekly to monthly. that means that there will be more posts on the screen if you check the blog, but it makes going back and reading old stuff easier.
i have made the font a little smaller to occupy less space on the screen and to make it look less like i'm writing with a husky pencil on a big chief tablet (flashbacks anyone?)

i will be adding some more links soon.
